iQ Construct is proud to have been involved in the federal and state governments funded community and recreational asset recovery and resilience program (CRARRP). The Department of Tourism and Sport (DTS) program has delivered funding to rebuild extraordinary weather damaged community assets across 37 local government areas.
This Design & Construct project required the demolition of 2 existing timber buildings at the Warwick Showgrounds destroyed by the 2022 QLD flood disaster, replacing them with new steel framed stables with metal roofing, including drainage and metal wall cladding to both ends. Stock railing installed created 36 new enclosures for stabling horses and ponies.
Further works included installation of a new electrical board to supply power and lighting, and water service taps now provide thirst quenching to water livestock.
iQ Construct proudly engaged trade partners, contractors and suppliers local to Warwick and surrounding towns to complete these works.
