iQ Construct has completed the Cuskelly Library Extension project for the prestigious Downlands College in Toowoomba, involving the full refurbishment and new build extension of a two-storey library and administration building, surrounded tightly by 3 school buildings and an sports oval.
The extension of this heritage brick building has provided the school with a new library, general learning areas, multiple administration areas and meeting/conference rooms, and 2 PWD bathrooms. The works also included installation of a lift and lift shaft construction, external stairwell and numerous ramps. Concurrent to this, building extension works were undertaken to create a photographic studio, as well as electrical upgrades at multiple locations throughout the school.
