TEMC, Tertiary Education Managers Conference 2021 was held last week from the 11th-13th of October – it was originally supposed to be held in Brisbane, but was moved completely online when there was too much uncertainty surrounding Covid.

After far too many months of conference calls, webinars, and online collaboration sessions, I think it’s fair to say that we really missed the in-person TEMC conference these last 2 years.

To try and compensate in some way, iQ Construct held a TEMC Wrap Up event at the Valley’s City Winery and brought our industry colleagues together over delicious Queensland food and incredible Australian wines to celebrate the University sectors resilience, agility, and innovation, being one of the hardest-hit sectors during Covid.

The conference highlighted the positive transformation the University sector is undergoing and looking at the exciting future ahead.

We wish we had more photos of everyone enjoying themselves over wine, but we do have a photo of Jill May and Naomi Herzog presenting their summary from 16 hours of online sessions over 3 days.

Reach out if you are interested in catching up over a coffee for a summary of the summary. Thank you to all who attended, it was a really great afternoon.
