We are thrilled to reveal iQ Construct has been awarded first place in the Tourism and Leisure Facilities up to $10 million category at this year’s Master Builders Housing & Construction Awards.
Our work on the stunning Ovolo Hotel’s restaurant, Za Za Ta, was recognised for its high quality, attention to detail, craftsmanship and commitment to innovation.
This project required our team to transform the old Emporium hotel into Ovolo Hotels ‘The Valley’ – a new offering regarded as one of Brisbane’s best boutique hotels. This award acknowledges our focus in delivering a unique space curated to house Za Za Ta – the standalone restaurant headed by renown executive chef Roy Ner. This space was crafted from the ground up as the venue had no previous food service facility.
Our work here shows what is possible when considered and innovative design is integrated with a professional construction company. The iQ Construct team had a focus on ensuring that the design intent flowed through all facets of construction, rendering a beautiful and function space.
