On behalf of the Ipswich City Council, iQ Construct completed the fitout of the Springfield Library. The Library, located at the Orion Shopping Centre, spans over 2 levels and includes a welcome/ customer assistance area, ‘market place’ style presentation of popular books, main collection area, maker space, public access computers, express computers, children’s space and parents’ room for level one; and minor collection area, event space, meeting rooms, kitchen space and storage, computer training room, and staff office area on level two.
The fitout was delivered over a 24 hour shift to avoid disruption to the busy Shopping precinct. Major façade upgrades were also included in the scope.
