iQ Construct was engaged by the Department of Defence to mitigate damage to equipment and historical museum artefacts, as well as risk to human health and wellbeing resulting from wildlife ingress and contamination by nesting birds. This project required the deep cleaning of several large structures, and installation of bird netting and bristle stripping to prevent future access and nesting.
This project was successfully carried out through multiple stakeholder management, in live and potentially dangerous environments. In addition, particular care had to be taken in the heritage centre in order to protect displays of priceless museum artefacts and historical aircraft.
