Positioned on one of Australia’s most famous beaches, the Novotel Sunshine Coast resort has been a family favourite since it was built in 1990. Nestled between the Maroochy River and the Surf Beach of Mudjimba, the adjoining golf course is famous internationally as one of the 6th best courses in Australia. More recently, the resort has been the preferred training destination for Australian Rugby League and International Rugby Union teams.
iQ Construct was engaged in January 2021 to refurbish 173 existing East Wing Resort rooms, including full bathroom replacements. Since the completion of the East Wing Rooms, iQ Construct has been re-engaged for further works, including the transformation of the 4 star, luxury Lagoon rooms, construction of a new world class gymnasium and remediation and upgrade to the large resort pool which connects the lagoon to the main bar.
The works have been delivered over four stages, to allow minimal disruption while the resort remains operational throughout construction works.
iQ Construct continues to build upon the reputation as the clients trusted building contractor as further upgrade works continue into 2022.
