iQ Construct was engaged for the construction of a new building capable of securing, storing and testing the AN/ARC 210 Cryptographic Radios as well as facilities for DPN and DSN for the small team of Engineers working on site at Damascus Barracks, including up to 8 workstations.
The building is to be located at Damascus Barracks as a joint use facility for IASPO, ISREW and Land 121 personnel and is to be located adjacent building A067 as it is understood this building is the only option for a terrestrial based DSN connection.
iQ Construct were responsible for the ECI design of the modular building and building certification followed by conversion to D&C contract in accordance with Defence Building Works Manual, BCA and Australian Standards.
