iQ Construct were engaged to build a rooftop garden as a part of a tenancy agreement for a new large tenant at 192 Central. Owned by Japanese developer, Daisho, the rooftop garden incorporated a fully functioning bar, structural steel sub floor works, core-filled block work walls and landscaping, outdoor AV entertainment system, outdoor kitchen amenities, outdoor breakout seating and amphitheatre and outdoor work pods.
The construction occurred over 19 weeks with 13 crane lifts (with associated road closures of Ann Street), lifting over 60 tonne of steel and 20 tonnes of pavers in total.
