This staged refurbishment project was delivered through an ECI contract to deliver modifications to a Childcare Centre for Not-for-Profit organisation Communify in Bardon. Stage 1 works included removing the existing kindergarten outdoor roof structure and shade sails. This was replaced with a new integrated steel roof structure underneath which a new storage area, wet areas and laundry are housed.
Stage 2 required the demolition and refit of the kitchen pantry area and establishment of new facilities, consultation rooms, and PWD and amenities upgrades. The third stage required works to the office area within the heritage building, including internal strip-out, refitting the space with consultation rooms, a reception area and new kitchen.
