iQ Construct were engaged by Zen Group to construct a second New Build (D&C) pre-fab Caltex Service Station (and Carwash), after the successful completion of Caltex Service Station and Retail Tenancies new build project in Crestmead, Queensland.
Project scope included canopies over two fuel fill areas (including light vehicle station and heavy vehicle/truck station), car wash and dog wash facilities. This project also involved extensive civil works to widen the busy main arterial road, including completion of footpath and median strips. The site is not connected to the council sewer main and therefore involved the installation of an onsite treatment plant in its place. The addition of new Qld Urban Utilities water service and fire main also formed part of the scope.
This site is minutes away from Beaudesert Road and Motorway access, with an Average Daily Traffic of 18,845 vehicles along Learoyd Road. Therefore, it is ideal for servicing the growing need for medium and heavy Rigid Vehicles to refuel in the Willawong Industrial precinct.
