This project for the Department of Defence involved remediation and refurbishment works to multiple buildings across the base, including accessibility improvement works to the RAAF Townsville Museum and surrounding areas.
Specifically the project works included roof replacement works to Building 50, with removal of existing asbestos within the roof space prior to the re-roofing works, refurbishments to Building 50 & 131 including new internal finishes, amenity upgrades, services upgrades, additional external stair access to the second floor entry of the building, civil works adjoining the buildings and construction of new ramps to buildings 052, 131 and 058 with provision of Person With Disability (PWD) access pathway to selected areas of the Museum Precinct.
